Learn to Run - 10K - Half Marathon - Marathon - Ultras - Tri’s

Learning to run or running longer distances can place a new stresses on your body that takes some time to adjust to. The running programs at Tri & Run Sports are designed to help your body accommodate to the new stresses regardless of your experience or the distance you are choosing to train for. All programs will include an assessment with your coach for muscle tightness and strength to design a personal program of stretching and weights. Videotaping may be included for gait correction as required.

If you are just beginning your running journey your program will include one on one running with your coach for as long as necessary to help you learn while you run and have gait correction done on the spot. Along with having a personalized running program developed for you, nutrition will also be covered.

Once your assessment and program have been developed you will receive a guide booklet with all of your information.

Participants will meet Monday and Thursday nights for weight training and gait corrections. All group running will take place on Tuesday nights, Saturday and Sunday mornings. Also included in your program is a membership in the Quinte FunRunners for the duration of your program allowing you to attend all run nights and any club functions.

Please note that participation in all available nights is not a requirement but is there for your pleasure and to help you succeed in your goals.
