Hi Robyn!  I just got the flyer in the Sydenham goody bag.  Can you believe, you get a vest and a hat, if you register.  What a great price too!  I wish I could commit to this, but I just don't know if I'll be in the country!  I heard lots of ladies chatting about it today, even tried on one of the vests for sizing.

I am too.  I am going to run it with Diane who did our Learn to Run Clinic.  It will be her first "official" 5K race.  I am very much looking forward to it!!  Heather has also signed up for it.

Just wanted to bump this up -- it looks like the race is filling up fast.  The limit is 200, so if anyone is planning on doing it, I wouldn't wait too long as you may be disappointed!

Nothing like finishing off one year with a Resolution Run, and starting the next year with a Resolution Run!!!   cool

Hi Nancie,

You register through the Runningroom Website.  Here is the info on it:

http://www.events.runningroom.com/site/?raceId=2301

And here is the online registration form:

https://www.events.runningroom.com/applications/index.php

You will have to give a credit card # and I believe there is a $3.00 fee.  I have done this many times with no problem.

You will have to choose what sized vest you want.  From what we saw of the one that Laurie had when we were in Sydenham, I think you would not be any bigger than a size small.

I think my car is full, but I know that Cathy and Petra are also going, so there is probably space with them.  I will let them confirm that.  It would be great if you could come!!  It is more of a fun run - they don't have timing chips and they basically just call out your time as you come over the finish line.  I don't think I have ever seen the results published, but I could be wrong.  There are lots of door prizes.  And we will probably stop somewhere afterwards for a bite to eat - maybe Tim Hortons.

Let us know if you decide to register.

Hi Jane,
Thanks for the info,   I just registered Meghan and I without a problem.   We can talk before the run to figure out the drive.   If you have room Robyn we can go with you if that's okay.

Interesting....  maybe next year we should check out the Peterborough Resolution Run!

And yes, idorun, most of us are also registered for the Trenton Resolution Run as well.  I guess you can never have too many "resolutions"!

Your right Brian, it is nice to have these runs right out our back door.  Most of us are double doing the Res Runs this year as I did last year.  But we will all be in attendance smiles in place ready to tear up the strip in the New Year.  Can't wait.

So glad that you are planning more for our home town.  Less time driving, more time for laughing and doing Tim's after.

Not a problem, Nancie.  As the run gets closer we can finalize the logistics of it.
