Sounds like you wouldn't have any trouble getting rid of a case, Sandy!

Bob went to the Dr today -- our lovely Dr.  He told Bob he is getting old - that is his problem.  So he has muscle relaxants and a hot water bottle now.  Why does he have to tell him he is getting old?????  Geez, that bugs me!!  I know lots of people who have sore backs and who are younger!!  So what is this getting old thing all about????   angry

In some cases it's the Dr.'s way of giving an answer to a patient when he can't explain the pain or give a reason why there is pain.  And they rarely recommend a specialist that "might" be able to help.   rolleyes

It's just my Doctor!  He likes to blame everything on getting older.  But then he tells me not to run because it isn't good for me.  Meanwhile, I think I have fewer aches and pains than most non-runners - or at least I complain about them a lot less.  Maybe running just gets us used to having aches?   laugh

At least your Dr gives you an answer.  I usually get ,"Hmmm, interesting.  I'm not sure, that's not really my specialty."
No offer to find out, or refer me.  I've pretty much given up on him.  I'll go when I think I might die, but otherwise I guess I'm on my own.  Besides all of my current aches are running related.  Maybe he sees running injuries as the equivilent to a hangover, self inflicted, and therefore not his problem.

Yes, he's in Trenton, but no it doesn't start with G.  His initials are M.S.  Sounds like they went to the same school though.

Sandy, let me know when the Biofreeze comes in.  Bill has been using it on his legs and back and has found it has helped him.

Hard to believe that there can be anything colder than they were for sure Shannon.  My toes felt like ice cubes a couple of times.
