Still proving to be the most popular spring marathon in Ontario, Ottawa race weekend brought out 36,000 runners who ran distances from 2k to the marathon. The marathon saw just about 3,600 runners while the half distance had almost three times that number with 9,100 plus participants. While the course may seem crowed, it provides beautiful scenery, huge cheering crowds and a fast course for Boston qualifying hopefuls. If you are thinking about racing next year Ottawa is extending 2009 pricing for anyone who signs up for 2010 by June 30, 2009.
