And would do so again.

This day turned out to be such a crappy run (even my MP3 player couldn't helping) that I just gave up after 13k of running and started hitting the aid stations.  Might as well have a bit of fun while I was out there suffering from the heat and a real bad run.

Certainly one run that I won't forget.  (Guess I didn't consume enough of the aid offered)  ha ha ha

Anyone hear of the "beer mile".  If memory serves (pardon the pun) I think a Canadian holds the record.  Rules are 4 laps, 1 can of beer before, and after every lap.  Beer must contain 5% alcohol by volume.  4 of the top 10 times are held by Canadian men, with the record being 5:09.  Shot-gunning is not permitted.  (Cans may not be tampered with.)

We should do this.

You know Peter I have a son who decided to put a piece of green crayon in his ear.  What can I say he is an artist...and he really got into his work!! After surgery they not only removed that but a bead from a beanie baby!!!
Oh memories!!

Bears?  Did someone say gummi bears?  Yummm -- great for the trails.

Speaking of sticking things in your ear, how about sticking things up your nose?  I remember a little boy in Julie's JK class (actually she was supposed to marry him but I think it might have ended when she moved here in Grade 1).  He decided one day at school that he would find out whether he could fit a piece of macaroni up his nose.   shocked  His mom ended up with him at the hospital getting it taken out.  What a noodlehead!   roflmaob

Did someone say gummi bears?  I LOVE gummi bears!!  Never thought of bringing them along on a run though.

My sister put a piece of crayon up her nose in kindergarten.  Had to go to the hospital where apparently they made a very dramatic performance of getting it out.  But she never put anything in her nose again!

We always take gummie bears etc on long runs.  Well that is if you run with Jane.  She always has a well needed stash for us.

I had a friend when my kids were young who's daughter used to take the fuzz balls off her favorite blankie and stuff it up her nose.  Made a real mess of her nose.  Nasty.

I don't like chocolate, but love jube jubes.  The sour jube jubes too!

Popcorn ... Orville Redenbacker's Extra Butter.  Although I can't keep it in the house right now because it is too tempting and both daughters have braces.
