Yes, I can see how people could make a typo and get missed. Or reverse their first and last name (I remember running with Ms. Coakley Nancy once.

I know that it is usually important to people who are doing their "firsts" that they see the results in the paper. I know I always felt a sense of accomplishment and actually felt like an athlete! I even have had people who asked me if I was the Jane whose name is always in the paper for running and actually thought that I was a good runner because my name was in the paper. Thank goodness they didn't realize that my times weren't really fast!
And there have been times when it probably would have been better when the results weren't there.
But that is okay Sandy. Keep sticking it in there. At least I am doing something!
