On Sunday August 29 I will be doing a training run, with my training group, in prep for PEC.  We will be leaving from the Crystal Palace and running out 9K and back.
I am going to leave my vehicle at the turn around for anyone wishing to leave supplies in it.
All are welcome.

Hi Patti
Kate mentioned you were going to do something like this.   I'd love to join, but alas, my leg is still not up to par (it was a difficult 8k on Sunday, and a difficult 5k this morning for me) so I'll pass.

Hence no Midsummer Nights run.

Am marking it on my calendar Patti.

I am still VERY achy up my left side from my fall (who'd have thought), but I am trying to be optimistic that I will feel better soon!  I feel like I copped out on Mid Summer Night's Run (mind over matter I know, but I figure if I miss that run, I might be in good form by October) but I refuse to not do the County 1/2.

Hopefully I will see you there on the 29th   smiley

Aw ... crap.  That means you are including the hill   tongue

Notwithstanding ... what time?  Or is it to be noted closer to the date.

I'm going to try to make it out. I gotta get my act together one of these days or I'll never see the finish line come January.

Hi Patti,
I think I might be up for this by then, but I still do some walking during my long runs (usually every 20min) and that makes me slower (about 7:20/km). Would that be ok?

Hi,
Can you let me know the start time, and also directions to where you are starting from? I am new to the area and not familiar with this route.
Thanks.

We are leaving from the Crystal Palace around 7am, so we will be doing the last 9K of the race.  It will be an out and back.
We are leaving the store at 6am, for anyone that would like to travel together.

Patti
I just remembered that (my family) has a late night Saturday so not sure I can make it this weekend.   sad
Are you and your group going to be doing this again some time before PEC?

Unfortunately this is the only time we are going.  It is their last long run before PEC and then they taper.
BTW Kate I have Gloria and your Midsummer Jackets at the store.  They are really nice.
