Hey Gang,

I'm not big into worrying about race weather, but there is a chance you guys could get cool/wet weather.  Just in case, this is a reminder to pack some cold weather race gear, especially for cycling.  Better to have than, not have so if you own them, bring it.  Things to consider:
Arm Warmers
Shoe Covers
Toque, beanie,
Long Sleeve Base shirt
Wind Stopper Vest
Gloves
Any other warm gear you can think of to bring.

If its a cold morning or wet, you will wish you had some of this, as you fly down the back of Richter Pass.  I hope you guys have an ideal day.

Safe travels,
Jon

Rained the last time we did IMC, no sense in breaking tradition.

BTW didn't see any of you on the trails in the pouring rain on Sunday.

G'day Sandy,

I barely could get Cal to get out of the truck, and Bob kept whining about "I thought we don't ride in the rain", but we were out there in it for over 3hrs, so plenty wet.

Just checked the forecast out here in Penticton, and it's supposed to be sunny with a high of 73, a bit chilly to start maybe, but perfect race weather otherwise!
After driving through Kootenay pass today, I have new respect for hills!  Peter's hills were just bumps compared to these  wink

Sunny and 73, perfect racing weather especially considering the lower humidity out there. In a small way I'm disappointed I'm doing this with the gang.
