CLINICS

All Tri & Run Sports Clinics are delivered at NO COST to you however you are required to attend classes; they are not virtual.  While we realize life happens and there may be circumstances that arise prohibiting attendance at a class or two, you are required to attend 80%.  We will assume those athletes missing more than 20% of classes with no communication are no longer interested and they will be removed from all communication.

All clinics attendees will be given weekly homework to help you reach your goals which will either be delivered through your clinics private Facebook page or through Training Peaks depending on clinic distance. Topics covered in classes: nutrition, hydration, clothing, shoes, injury prevention and more.

We encourage all clinic attendees to join our Run Group (link to this) to do other runs during the week.

The following clinics are 8 weeks in length, up to an hour each time and are on Thursday night at 5:45 pm from the Store.  They are held a couple of times a year based on demand.  There are no clinics in the summer.

  • Learn to Run 5k

  • Learn to Run 10k

The following clinics range in length from 10 to 20 weeks depending on goal or race distance and are held Saturday mornings starting at 8 am from the store.  Saturday is long run day and the route will be chosen based on the goal race.  All other homework will be delivered to you through Training Peaks.  One is held in the winter for a spring race and one is held in the summer for a fall race.  Distances and races change every season.

Running has taught me that I am capable of more than I ever thought possible; but the greatest gifts are the friendships I've made along the way.

Running has become a way of life for me.

It allows me to explore new places, meet interesting people, and seek motivating challenges.
