Today I ran some trails at Vanderwater Park, in honour of our coach and mentor, Sandy Musson.
Although I've been running since 2007, it wasn't until 3 years ago that I became more actively involved with the Quinte FunRunners. I love how Sandy promotes the big-picture approach to healthy running: proper fueling, strength training, rolling, stretching and of course hydration! The yearly challenges inspired us to step outside our comfort zones.
, because it is filled with positive, like-minded individuals, striving to meet their own goals but always ready to support others in meeting theirs. I believe that's Sandy's influence - she motivates us to be the best we can be.
