Well, I have been dreading this. I have been thinking about this farewell dedication run for a while and put it off as long as I could. I knew my run would be on trails, Batawa trails specifically, and it had to be on the north side. I was trying to think of the best place to take a picture, and during my run was when it came to me. I have to take a picture in the parking lot. The parking lot is where it started. This is where I started my first trail run. It is the start of MANY training runs, and Fat Ass races, and it is the start of many friendships. This is the start of when I fell in love with running. Thank you Sandy Musson for your dedication to helping a community fall in love with your passion, and leading us to a life of health and accomplishments some of us never thought possible. Thank you for the memories and friendships made through Tri & Run Sports. The Quinte area will certainly be missing something special when Tri & Run closes its doors for the last time.
